How to connect to ourselves through Nature
We often forget that we are also creatures of nature, and sometimes we feel disconnected. Here are some simple steps to help us reconnect to our inner wisdom and authentic nature, through observing nature.
  • Create a safe space - Find a place in which you can relax and feel peaceful.
  • Expand - Allow your breathing to calm and your thoughts to unwind and drift away.
  • Awareness & relationship - Let your eyes rest on a picture in our gallery below or something in nature which attracts your attention, then feel into it a moment.
  • Make a connection - Hover over or click the gallery image to read the accompanying thoughts. If outdoors in nature, silently ask what is there for you to learn in connection with what you are viewing.
  • Take back your authentic self with Nature - Notice how this piece of nature gives insight into your present challenges and some direction or lesson. After all, you were attracted to it for a reason. What is your take away message or feeling? Take that into your daily practice of life.
There is always life-giving light around us. Look for it.
Nature, in its abundant beauty, doesn’t need to ask if it is beautiful enough. It simply lives its life knowing that it is enough.
Despite wildfires and ice storms, the cherry trees are blooming. Life goes on.
The fragrance of mild spring flowers invigorates action.
Softly, look and listen to nature. Therein lay the answers.
The symmetry of nature is beautiful.
Honey bees are already out and about. Time to go out and gather.
Happy spring! A rabbit coming out to explore but staying safe.
