To those who have no mother, Or wish they never had, To those who miss their mother, The good ones and the bad, Feel the Earth as your mother, When you need her there. Lay your head on her grassy apron, Feel her warm breeze in your hair. Let her loving arms surround you. Lay in her quiet embrace, For as long as you want, For as long as you need. Let the sorrows fall from your face. Melt your body into her warmth. Hear the whisperings of her voice, Telling you all will be well again. You will get another choice. Stay in the hold of your mother Earth, As she keeps you with such care. For as long as you want, For whatever you need. With only love to share. ©2017 Joanna Pintello DeRungs |
