So I may take in all they see,
Far beyond most sights and sounds,
Feeling into sacred grounds.
Seeing inside people I meet,
Secrets they try to hold so deep.
They do so many telling things.
I watch and listen to their souls sing.
Their heart to mine, then I will know,
How to approach and what to show.
I hold the space and try to stay,
To see them in a special way.
As long as I am only me,
I am apart from what I see.
But when I feel into others,
They become my sisters and brothers.
